31 December 2024
Most of this year, I was taking a break from philosophy. Except, that I did write the MSL booklet. Then, in October, I went back to doing philosophy. I spent the last three months of the year getting back into philosophy.
I also worked on music, writing two albums (not things to release soon, I think) and releasing a demo of another.
I had a computer crash that made me have to restore backups and make new ones. I may have lost some data. I looked through and released old material.
Overall, I felt a feeling of fatigue through much of this year. In the past, when I was depressed, I had more energy. This year, relatively more fatigue. I was tempted to give up writing more often. Toward the end of the year, less fatigue.
I also found my local social life more compelling than in the past (as it had been curtailed by the pandemic).
One interest I had in 2024 (which I think began in 2023) was in the Reformed church. And also in Christian denominations in general. Another was Indonesia, continued from 2022. By the end of the year, all of these largely set aside for now.
I started this blog in July. Possibly about as active as Formulalessness was in its first year.
Looking ahead to next year, I think I will probably work on this blog. I don't feel as much of a connection to music as of now, but I find myself still making backing tracks. I don't have have any book-writing projects that I see myself working on in 2025.
